My recent journey to Cairo and the great pyramids reminded me the profound allure I've felt for this land since childhood. Beyond its surface, amidst the debris and poverty, lies an enduring spiritual essence that captivates the soul.
In Egypt, a nation seemingly trailing behind the rest of the world by 30 to 50 years, the resilience of its people shines through. Despite the challenges, the spirit of charity and communal support prevails. Witnessing the annual month-long fasting embraced by individuals as young as seven years old underscores the depth of devotion and solidarity....
So why not Egypt first? The birth place of our most ancient human civilization, situated at the crossroads of three continents—Asia, Europe, and Africa—it symbolizes a convergence of cultures and histories. Moreover, the Egyptian government's commitment to revitalizing tourism post-pandemic opens new avenues for our endeavor.
